Shell size approx |
Generation: F1
Keeping is easy, room temperature and higher humidity are sufficient.
Food: any kind of vegetable. Currently, we most often feed sweet potato, lettuce, and cucumber. Snails also like to consume older pieces of food. For small juveniles that are difficult to remove from food, we offer a new piece of vegetable onto which they will eventually crawl. We leave the old piece in the enclosure until they abandon it or finish it.
Breeding: The hatchlings of these snails are extremely tiny. If relocation is necessary, gently lift them with, for example, a toothpick. Be careful that the container with the hatchlings does not have ventilation holes that are too large. However, the hatchlings rarely venture far from the substrate and food, on which they stay almost constantly.
