Detailed product description

Calcium dolomite (or dolomitic limestone) contains a high amount of calcium (CaCO3) 55%, magnesium (MgCO3) 35% and trace elements. Very finely ground.

When mixed into the substrate, its pH increases, which has a positive effect on the upper layer of the shell (periostracum), which serves as protection of the shell against acidic environment.

Thanks to the content of calcium dolomite in the substrate, the snail also has the ability to absorb calcium through its whole body.
